Earth, love & nature: getting married at Huize Bergen estate

On July 1, we wedding photographers got to work with a bunch of amazing vendors again on a styled shoot! This time, the wedding venue Landgoed Huize Bergen, among others, cooperated. This is a beautiful location in the woods near Vught. So for us a home game, since we live in the vicinity of Tilburg. The theme of this shoot? Earth, love & nature.

To manage this shoot, we looked for a wedding planner to help us. This became Mariska of Definitely Yes. She took much of the arranging out of our hands. On such a big shoot day, it is nice to have a coordinator. Never mind that a wedding planner is incredibly helpful on your wedding day! She came up with a theme with earthy colours, a little moody and otherwise inspired by nature.

As wedding photographers, we start photographing while getting ready. So what do we photograph? The bride quietly sips her coffee or tea while her makeup is done. The groom fastened his cufflinks or his tie. Mothers looking proudly at the bride. Dad walks around incredibly nervous, looking at his watch every 2 seconds. But what we also photograph are the bride and groom’s accessories. Think about those cufflinks, a special perfume. We also like to photograph wedding rings and engagement rings. Rings of love once again collaborated on this shoot. We also collaborated with her during the previous styled shoot.

Thoori’s makeup was provided by Lavinia Bridal Studio. Inspired by the theme of Earth, love and nature, the look is also moody and sexy. The Bridal Blush provided a beautiful floral crown in Thoori’s hair. They also made the bridal bouquet including dried flowers, roses and eucalyptus branches.

Meanwhile, there is room in the schedule to take photos of the groom Danish in beautiful suits from Black Tie Gelegenheidskleding This suit is also completely in tune with the theme; the beautiful copper colour of the suit comes out perfectly!

And then it’s time to put on the beautiful wedding dress from BLOOM Bridal Atelier. What you don’t see well in the photos is that the tulle of the skirt has little sparkles on it. Thus, the dress is finished in every detail. Just a little more lip gloss and then we can get started!

Unfortunately, the weather gives us some trouble: it’s raining. Well, we do live in the Netherlands. Fortunately, we can go to a beautiful wedding hall at Huize Bergen. Again, The Bridal Blush provides the beautiful styling of the space: look at those gorgeous flower posts! The flowers from the wedding bouquet are also reflected in these posts.

But by the end of the day, thankfully, it is dry! Time to style the table outside after all. Once again, this is the work of The Bridal Blush. The cake was created by Bakverhalen and the stationary is the work of Silverlining.

And luckily then we were able to do a love shoot in the woods as well! The area around Huize Bergen is so beautiful, you can go into the woods for a love shoot or stay in the small park. This is also a wonderful location for a first look as you get ready in a suite at the wedding venue.
